How Currency Strength Works
Score Calculation
For each pair:
Currency Score = Sum of Normalized / Number of Pairs
Interpretation:
- Score of +100 means current move equals typical move (bullish)
- Score of -100 means current move equals typical move (bearish)
- Score of +200 means 2x typical move (strong bullish)
Current % = (Close - Open) / Open x 100Avg Absolute = average of |% changes| over N candlesNormalized = Current % / Avg Absolute x 100Currency Score = Sum of Normalized / Number of Pairs
Interpretation:
- Score of +100 means current move equals typical move (bullish)
- Score of -100 means current move equals typical move (bearish)
- Score of +200 means 2x typical move (strong bullish)
Alignment
Shows how many pairs agree with the overall direction.
100% = all pairs moving same direction (very strong signal)
50% = mixed signals (weak/unclear)
Multi-Timeframe Analysis
Each timeframe column shows the score for that specific timeframe. When multiple timeframes agree (all green or all red), the signal is stronger.
Finding Best Trade
Combine the strongest BUY currency with the strongest SELL currency. Example: USD +87 (BUY) + CAD -87 (SELL) = BUY USDCAD
